Adina Katz is a Maryland attorney with a love of family law. Prior to becoming an Associate Attorney with the Law Office of Shelly M. Ingram, LLC, she operated her own law firm, where she practiced almost exclusively in family law matters.
Ms. Katz decided that family law was her passion after completing coursework in family law while in law school. She was a dual-degree program participant and graduated from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law and the University of Maryland School of Social Work with her J.D. and MSW, respectively.
Ms. Katz's past experience includes clerking for Judge Enechi Modu at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where she composed opinions regarding different forms of discrimination. She also worked for the Office of the Public Defender where she participated in defending people charged with crimes. In law school, she volunteered at the National Association of the Deaf where she engaged in civil rights work on behalf of the deaf community.
Ms. Katz is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Foundation and the Maryland Association for Justice.
