Jessica S. Gillespie

Jessica is an Associate with the Law Office of Shelly M. Ingram. Her personal experience as a child of divorced parents, who resolved custody and child support issues in court, in addition to her legal studies in the field of family law, allow Jessica to provide clients with understanding and guidance as they progress through the varying phases of their family law case.

Jessica received her B.A. from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. During her time in law school, Jessica spent two semesters in the Bronfein Family Law Clinic and one semester on the Family Law Moot Court Team. Additionally, Jessica completed coursework which prioritized family mediation in contested custody cases – a child-focused process she strongly believes in.

After law school, Jessica served as a Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable Magistrate William M. Dunn at the Family Division of the Baltimore City Circuit Court. During her clerkship, Jessica observed and worked on a wide variety of family law cases - from uncontested divorce to multi-day custody modification.

Jessica is an avid sports fan, fiction-book reader, and dog lover. She and her Labrador-Hound mix, Bentley, can frequently be found exploring new terrain or snuggling on the couch.
